We have spent the majority of this last year—nearly the entire pandemic—writing this book. We have met with and interviewed women all over the world, gathering their stories, and putting a voice behind the amazing work they have accomplished. These are the women that are completely reimagining how we move about in our communities, how things are moved around the world, and how the roads and infrastructure are designed to do so more efficiently, safely, and sustainably.

While working on the book we received an overwhelming response of women and projects to feature and, the truth is, we just couldn’t fit them all into print. But these stories are still so important to the narrative and need to be told.

With that said, we are honored to launch the Women Driven Mobility podcast series which further showcases the projects, initiatives, and innovations led by women working across automotive, transportation, and all things mobility. This podcast will act as an extension of the book, providing more insight, and keeping the conversation going and evolving long after the book goes to print.

In honor of International Women's Day, we are kicking off a new podcast that examines women's roles in automotive, transportation, and all things mobility. Katelyn and Kristin sit down and talk about what inspired them to write Women Driven Mobility and why this narrative is so important to be telling now and what to expect in coming episodes.
